‘Affluenza’ teen Ethan Couch arrives in Texas

The “affluenza” teen is home.

Ethan Couch, 18, arrived at a Texas airport on a commercial flight Thursday, one month after he was detained. Uniformed Mexican immigration agents had put the teen on the flight.

The teen — who used an “affluenza” defense in a fatal drunken-driving accident — was escorted from the Mexico City immigration holding center before dawn, and left the city’s airport on an 8:50 a.m. Aeromexico flight to Dallas

‘AFFLUENZA’ TEEN DROPS MEXICO APPEAL, WILL RETURN TO TEXAS

Ethan Couch, seen headed to a plane in Mexico, will return to Texas on Thursday.

Couch and his mom, Tonya, were arrested in Mexico last month following a more than two-week-long manhunt after the duo abandoned their Fort Worth-area home.

His mother was deported to the United States last month, but Couch stayed behind as he waged a legal appeal against his extradition. He dropped the appeal on Monday, paving the way for his deportation.

The mom and son pair fled Texas home in December after video surfaced allegedly showing the teen playing beer pong with friends — a direct violation of his court-ordered probation.

MOM OF ‘AFFLUENZA’ VICTIM SAW ETHAN COUCH AT CRASH SCENE

Couch avoided jail time two years ago after his attorneys successfully argued the rich kid suffered from “affluenza,” and his spoiled upbringing meant he didn’t understand the consequences of his actions because his parents never set limits. He needed rehabilitation, not a stiff jail sentence, his legal team said.

He was sentenced to 10 year on probation for a June 2013 DUI crash that killed four people, including a youth pastor and a mother and daughter. Two passengers in Couch’s car were severely injured.
